About Us

We first want to acknowledge the work and steps you have taken to simply be here. Reaching out is the first step to help and healing.

Family and relationships are the most important things in our lives, but they can also be the place where we find most hurt and need the most healing. Our relationships take work.

We specialize in working with individuals, couples, families, and children by helping people communicate better through understanding and engagement.

Family and relationships are the most important things in our lives, but they can also be the place where we find most hurt and need the most healing. I specialize in working with individuals, families, and children by helping people communicate better through understanding and engagement. Therapy takes effort, honesty, and a willingness to engage in self-exploration. I will seek to meet you where you are and provide a safe environment for growth and change. I am here to listen, support, and help you in your journey forward. In individual sessions, I'll use an Internal Family Systems approach: offering a simple, clear, and multifaceted model. For couples, I use the Gottman method: disarming conflicting verbal communication, while increasing intimacy, respect, and affection. In a family session, a Strategic Therapy approach: helping the family interact better as a cohesive unit.

I have experience ranging from individual therapy, marital conflict, family crisis, couples, and family counseling. I also serve as an adjunct professor at Endicott College and am actively involved in the community, working as an on-call clinician at Union and Burlington Hospital.

“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination."- Carl Rogers. With the ever-changing circumstances of life, despite our best efforts to maintain balance, we can find ourselves stuck, and overwhelmed.

Through the process of self-exploration, acceptance, identifying challenges as opportunities to grow, and creating meaning from your experiences, I can help you gain insight and work towards achieving your personal goals.

With a collaborative and supportive approach, pulling from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength Based and Client Centered principles, we will work together to utilize your strengths, overcome obstacles, identify and work through negative

Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT

No matter what walk of life one may be in, we as humans try to find the road to meaning, and in our relationships strive to make life meaningful together. I want to meet you wherever you may be in your journey, and walk alongside you as you explore different paths. I want to support you in finding your way through challenging times, as well as in growing in new ways as you identify the beauty that exists within your life; enhance communication, intimacy, and feelings of secure attachment within your relationships; and in identifying resources for growth.

I have experience working with individuals, couples and families as well as with different types of needs including: enriching relationships; managing life transitions, anxiety and stress; as well as coping with grief and trauma. I use an integrated person-centered, humanistic approach in which I tailor therapy to fit you.

It is important to hold onto and nurture hope. In creating a safe and supportive environment, I hope for you to feel heard and validated, and for you to become the catalyst for the meaningful change(s) you want to create. It would be a privilege and honor to hear your story.

As a strengths-based therapist, I believe you have the potential to cope with challenging circumstances, heal from pain, and become the best version of you. I have over 15 years of experience providing outpatient therapy for adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, addiction, and grief. I also have worked in inpatient settings, counseling aging and chronically ill adults.

I know that making change calls for an honest examination of self: identifying strengths and resiliencies; examining patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving; and, often, unearthing wounds that hold you back. I provide a safe space for you to do so. While warm and non-judgmental, I’m also direct and am comfortable challenging you to push further.

I bring compassion, knowledge, and tremendous hope in the human potential. Change is possible. You can do this. I can help.
